Our sustainably sourced, wild-caught black cod (sablefish) comes from Pacific Northwest waters around Alaska and British Columbia. Alaska and British Columbia manage sablefish with scientific assessments and catch limits. Alaska uses federal harvest controls, while British Columbia uses stock indices and a management procedure to inform allowable catches.

Sablefish is a different species from Atlantic cod. Bake, broil, poach or grill according to your recipe, following the product’s thawing and cooking instructions for raw fish.
