Order 1 lb. of Frozen Lobster Meat Online

If you’re not in the mood to prepare dinner, then an order of 1 lb. frozen lobster meat is exactly what you need. Our professionally trained staff did all the work of cooking and shelling the lobster, so all you have to do is place your order to give your dinner routine a boost. Our lobster meat is sourced sustainably from wild-caught lobsters and is ready to eat as soon as it’s thawed. Use it to make lobster rolls or as the main ingredient in lobster grilled cheese, a lobster BLTA, or one of our many chef-prepared lobster recipes.

Sustainably Harvested Lobster Meat

To ensure the long-term population of this coastal crustacean – which supports thousands of independently owned businesses here in Maine and all along the North Atlantic coast – we only use lobsters that are wild-caught and sustainably sourced. When you order from Maine Lobster Now, you can feel confident you’re eating great-tasting lobster that’s good for the ocean.

Unmatched Quality and Freshness

Maine Lobster Now delivers lobster meat that is fresher and tastes better than our competition. Our lobster meat is fully cooked, immediately frozen, sealed airtight, and shipped fresh to your door the next day. It’s like having lobster served to you at a restaurant right here along the majestic Maine shoreline.

May contain shell particles, body meat and leg meat.

Where Your Lobster Comes From

We sustainably source our lobster meat directly from independently owned wharfs just a few miles from our headquarters here in Maine and along the expansive Maine coastline. These docks trace all lobster landings to every lobsterman and woman who catches them, and we trace our lobsters to every dock where they landed.

Serving Size

The Serving Size of 1 lb. Frozen Lobster Meat

One pound of lobster meat can go a long way. It’s the same amount of meat we send in our lobster roll kits, which provides a generous helping of lobster meat for 6 sandwich rolls. Our frozen lobster meat is a mix of tail, claw, and knuckle meat taken fresh from pre-cooked lobsters. If you’re looking for more classic New England fare, pair your frozen lobster meat with any of our great lobster side dishes.

Nutritional Benefits

Are Lobsters the Next Superfood?

Lobster meat offers a host of beneficial health qualities similar to other “superfoods.” Lobster is an excellent source of protein, offering 19 grams of protein per 3.5 oz. serving.

Lobster also contains a healthy dose of vitamins B3, B6, and B12 to support metabolism and cognitive function. It’s an excellent source of the antioxidant selenium which prevents cellular damage and is high in zinc to boost immunity. Like other seafood we sell, lobster also contains omega-3 fatty acids that help lower inflammation and can reduce the risk of heart disease.

All frozen packages are sealed in a reusable box with dry ice, while our fresh packages are packed with gel packs. Packages containing both frozen and fresh products will be packed with gel packs. Dry ice is not harmful to your food as CO2 is found naturally in the air we breathe, however, it can be so cold that it can burn your skin if you touch it with your bare hands. Please wear gloves when handling dry ice.
