Responsibly Harvested Alaskan King Crab Meat

At Maine Lobster Now, we know the long-term sustainability of seafood products is an issue deeply connected to Maine and other coastal communities all across the world. In order to offer you Alaskan king crab meat today and in the future, we work only with fisheries that follow all local, federal, and international rules and regulations to responsibly harvest king crab to ensure continued access to these crustaceans for future generations.

Unmatched Quality and Freshness

Maine Lobster Now sources crabmeat to be the freshest, tastiest it can be for our customers. Prized by local fishermen, our Alaskan king crabs are caught in the frigid waters off Alaska and Norway. When it lands at the docks, it is immediately cooked, sometimes brined, and flash-frozen before it’s shipped directly to us. It’s impossible to experience fresher Alaskan king crab unless you take a boat out on the water and catch it yourself (which we don’t recommend).

As part of our commitment to sustainable seafood, Maine Lobster Now responsibly sources Red King Crab from the Icy cold waters of the Northern Pacific Ocean as well as the Bering Sea.

How Many Servings in 1 lb. of King Crab Broiler Claws?
Your order of 1 lb. King Crab Broiler Claws will come cap-off and ready to eat once thawed. Due to the size variations of the crabs, 1 lb. can include anywhere from 7-9 cocktail claws to be served at dinner or an event.
When you need a special appetizer for a special occasion, our King Crab Broiler Claws are certain to impress your guests. They make exceptional cocktail hour hors d’oeuvres and will excite the taste buds of anybody getting ready to sit down for the main course. Or choose them as a dish for a tapas-style dinner with Applewood-Smoke Bacon-Wrapped Scallops, corn on the cob, crab cakes, and more small dishes we offer. To top it off, add a Labadie's Bakery Original Maine Whoopie Pie.

Nutritional Benefits of King Crab Claw Meat
Crabmeat is a high-protein meat source that comes packed with vitamins and minerals. Like other shellfish and seafood we sell, crab could be added to the growing list of “superfoods” health experts recommend. Crabmeat offers a whopping 16 grams of protein per 3 oz. serving.
Crabmeat also contains vitamins B12 and C, and the antioxidants zinc and selenium. Zinc helps support bone mass and immune function, while selenium aids in preventing cellular damage. And there’s more. Crabmeat is also rich in omega-3 fatty acids, which help lower inflammation and can reduce the risk of heart disease.

Maine Lobster Now offers next-day delivery for orders placed Monday through Friday by 8AM ET, with delivery available Tuesday through Saturday. Saturday deliveries may require an additional fee and are subject to availability. Orders are shipped with dry ice or gel packs to ensure freshness. Shipping may be affected by holidays or weather conditions. Customers are encouraged to inspect their package upon arrival and report any issues immediately with photos. Fabulous

Ordered 2lbs for my adult child and spouse plus spouse’s parents who are visiting from another country for New Year’s. They were delighted as Claws had been perfectly frozen, they thawed per directions in the refrigerator only, so the meat was absolutely perfect. It made the perfect gift which pleased me.

Not as described

I purchased 4 pounds total. The claws were small and were double the amount of claws per pound that was advertised. Wouldn’t purchase again.

Huge waste of money

There’s were terrible! They tasted like they were freezer burnt and old. Very expensive and poor quality.
