Our Crab Cakes are made with Maine jonah crab meat which has a sweet, delicate, mouth watering flavor. Our crab cakes are 80% crab meat and a touch of all the things that make crab taste good: Dijon mustard, red pepper, parsley, chives and crunchy panko bread crumbs. Crab cakes make an excellent appetizer and travel well with our frozen tails, New England chowder and lobster bisque.
We recommend two 3 ounce cakes per person.
Cooking instructions: Melt a small amount of butter in a saute pan on medium high. Place frozen or thawed crab cake in pan. Sear on the first side then flip and sear on the other side. Place in 400 degree oven until the center is hot ( about 20 minutes, 15 if thawed) Serve with your favorite sauce.
Thaw under refrigeration. Use within 48 hours of thawing.
