Kinnealey Meats 4 oz. Filet Steaks are labeled USDA Prime. USDA Prime is widely used in restaurants nationwide thanks to its superior marbling, which makes for a more tender, mouthwatering bite. In addition to the prime cut, Kinnealey sets itself apart with its 28-day wet aging process. Wet aging simply allows natural enzymes to break down any hard connective tissue; ensuring maximum flavor and tenderness. Cooking Kinnealey Meats USDA Prime 4 oz. Filet Mignon

Kinnealey Meats USDA Prime 4 oz. Filets can be cooked using both dry and wet cooking methods. USDA Prime meats are great for grilling, frying, or roasting, and also great for stewing or braising. These steaks are best prepared under medium heat and can become tough if exposed to dry heat for too long.

In order to bring you a truly memorable seafood experience and keep our products as fresh as possible, all frozen items are shipped with gel packs or dry ice. Dry ice is not hazardous to food and will not contaminate it. In fact, these cooling methods, alongside our own nitrogen freezing process, help keep your seafood at ideal temperatures during shipping and ensure they taste just like they are fresh from the dock.

Notice: Keep frozen, thaw under refrigeration.
Warning: Consuming raw or undercooked meats may increase your risk of foodborne illness, especially if you have certain medical conditions.

All frozen packages are sealed in a reusable box with dry ice, while our fresh packages are packed with gel packs. Packages containing both frozen and fresh products will be packed with gel packs. Dry ice is not harmful to your food as CO2 is found naturally in the air we breathe, however, it can be so cold that it can burn your skin if you touch it with your bare hands. Please wear gloves when handling dry ice.
