Maine Lobster Now proudly serves sustainably and responsibly sourced seafood products to our customers. We adhere to NOAA FishWatch guidance on all sustainably sourced seafood products we offer. Overharvesting fish and shellfish without limit would irreparably deplete seafood populations and collapse the industry. Sustainable management of wild-caught species determines the yearly catch limits we can harvest that will allow their numbers to replenish for the next year.

• Lobster: Sustainably sourced directly from independently owned wharfs just a few miles from our headquarters here in Maine and along the expansive Maine coastline.
• Scallops: Sustainably harvested off the North Atlantic Coast ranging from New Bedford, Massachusetts to Halifax, Nova Scotia.
• Clams: Responsibly harvested from the Northwest Atlantic Ocean just a few miles off the expansive Maine coastline and further up into the waters of Eastern Canada.
• Haddock: A small portion is responsibly sourced from local waters near the Maine coast, but close to 90% is caught in the cold, clear waters near Iceland.
• Shrimp: Our shrimp is raised in waters in regions of Southeast Asia, along with the Northwest Atlantic Ocean.

All of our soups and chowders are delivered in 16 oz. portions. As an appetizer, two people can enjoy an 8 oz. cup of any of these Chowders and Bisques to accompany their Maine Lobster Dinner, Lobster Tail Feasts, Alaskan King Crab, or Sustainably-Sourced Fish Fillets. You can also choose to indulge in the full 16 oz. bowl portion as your main course and serve with oyster crackers or toasted bread.

Seafood is widely regarded by medical experts and dieticians to be healthy and provide nutritional benefits not found in other meat sources. All of the seafood in each of our Chowders and Bisques provide an excellent source of protein.

All of these foods also provide healthy doses of vitamins and minerals. For instance, lobster contains vitamins B3, B6, and B12 to support metabolism and cognitive function. Clams provide a large source of vitamin C, and haddock and shrimp both provide magnesium, potassium, iron, and zinc. Combined, all of our Chowders and Bisques are an excellent source of daily vitamins and minerals to support a healthy lifestyle.

Schedule Overnight Deliveries and Earn FREE Shipping

We ship out orders Monday - Friday for next-day delivery on Tuesday - Saturday, as long as the order is placed by 8AM ET. You may also schedule your seafood delivery ahead of time by choosing your desired date at checkout. Not all towns have Saturday delivery, so if you are interested in Saturday delivery, please contact our Customer Service Team by email or phone with your zip code so we can check availability. All orders scheduled to be delivered on Saturday are subject to an additional delivery fee.

All frozen packages are sealed in a reusable box with dry ice, while our fresh packages are packed with gel packs. Packages containing both frozen and fresh products will be packed with gel packs. Dry ice is not harmful to your food as CO2 is found naturally in the air we breathe, however, it can be so cold that it can burn your skin if you touch it with your bare hands. Please wear gloves when handling dry ice.

Shipping exceptions include holidays, the eve of a holiday or inclement weather. Our Customer Service Team will inform you via phone call or email if there are any issues with shipping your order out as promptly as possible.

Once you receive your package, you should open your package and make sure all your items arrived safely. If you have any issues with your products you must notify our Customer Service Team with photos of any issues via email the day your package arrives.
